Design

This focusing ring was designed in Rhinoceros and serves as an upgrade to the original, giving more precision to the photographer.
Designed in Rhinoceros, these flowers spin around their center and can be 3D printed without support material.

The assignment was simple- create a coat hook for my office cubicle. Over the course of a year, any spare time at my job was focused on creating the perfect coat hook over multiple iterations. The first photo shows the entire family together. The first iteration can be seen in the second photo, and successive iterations follow. The colors designate large changes in the design. The final iteration can be seen in the final photo. Despite being only 3mm thick, it can support up to 50lbs.

These luminaries were designed in Rhinoceros and laser cut with Baltic birch-wood.
